Food labelling

We offer a review of the labelling developed by you, which is intended to be used on the label/packaging of a new food product or dietary supplement, to ensure compliance with current requirements.

For a new product entering the Ukrainian market, especially in large retail chains, it is essential not only to have a registered trademark but also to ensure that the product labelling complies with the legislation regarding the provision of information to consumers about the food product.

Non-compliance with the current legal requirements for labelling can lead not only to the need to change the labelling and incur expenses for new packaging but also to sanctions from the State Consumer Protection Service or the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

That’s why it’s better to verify the labelling “on the shore” rather than releasing the product with packaging whose accuracy you are unsure of.

For the review of the labelling, we will need:

Textual and visual information on the label/packaging or a sample of such label/packaging.

Information about the normative document based on which the product is manufactured (DSTU, TU, RCU).

In specific cases, information about conducted laboratory tests, trials, etc.
