About me
Iryna Burkova
I consciously chose my profession, though it wasn’t an overnight decision. I had to go through a long journey. Initially, I studied philology at the Dragomanov National Pedagogical University and realized it wasn’t my path. During my studies, fate brought me together with a patent attorney, a true professional in their field, and I became their assistant for almost ten years.
During that time, I continued my education at the State Institute of Intellectual Property and Law, and in 2014, I passed the certification for representatives in intellectual property matters (patent attorneys) and became an independent specialist. Subsequently, I pursued legal studies at the Academy of Advocacy of Ukraine.
I don’t stop there; every year, I enrich my knowledge through courses offered by the World Intellectual Property Organization and the European Patent Office.
I believe that everyone has their own talent. Some are virtuoso dancers, others incredibly talented artists, and I have the skill of defending people’s ideas within the legal field of our country and others.
Each of my clients represents a story of development and self-assurance, nurturing an idea and hoping for its resounding success. Each client and each case embody a life story with its experiences and victories. No two cases are the same, and this creative aspect is integral to my profession. Therefore, in my work, I approach each new situation individually and find solutions tailored to the specific circumstances.
Throughout my years of practice in the field of intellectual property, I have identified areas where I am a strong professional and where I can confidently assist anyone who needs it (individuals and legal entities, residents and non-residents of Ukraine).
